A Thriving Business Community in Rochdale

With summer coming to a very wet end this week, the time of the year is upon us where the soup maker and slow cooker can be brought out from the back of the cupboard, ready to cope with our annual transition from grilled meats and salads, to rib sticking broths and hearty stews. I’ve already heard a few conversations around Fire Up regarding staples for the winter months. I’m looking forward to picking up some new meal ideas as the colder weather turns back upon us. If you have any recipes you would like to share, pop them on the community board, in the Fire Up kitchen.

I’ll pop a very simple, Slow Cooked Jalfrezi recipe at the end of the newsletter to whet your appetite.

The events in August were a great success once again with an amazing turnout and September's events are proving popular too. With the recent changes to free listings of event on Eventbrite, you may see a drop in the number of tickets available. However, if you see an event you want to sign up for and the event is showing as sold out on Eventbrite. Drop us an email at info@fireuprochdale.co.uk and we will do our best to accommodate you. I would also like to ask that should you book on for an event and re then unable to attend. If you would please cancel your ticket, to allow anyone sat on the waiting list to pick up your ticket allocation.
