LATEST NEWS

Well, isn’t this weather lovely! We seem to be at that sweet spot when mornings are nice and cool, breaking into lovely sunny days, long may it continue!

Thank you to everyone who attended May's launch events, we hope you had a good time and enjoyed the buffets supplied by Kreative Catering.

FSB Digital Next Event
The first collaboration with the FSB and their event sponsor, Digital Next went ahead with success. The presentation on the digital SEO was very well delivered, easy to understand, providing a great insight into why getting digital SEO right is so important and some of the techy stuff behind it. The next evening networking event is still to be confirmed but we are looking at dates for September.

Laughter Yoga Session
Our first Yoga laughter session, provided by Jay Mistry went down well, I hope everyone went back to work after the session, feeling energised and with aching cheeks. We intend to hold more events and workshops like this, we would love to hear your ideas.

FIRE UP EVENTS - DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Understanding Your Customer -NatWest X FireUp Thursday 8th June 8am – 10am

Understanding who your customer is, is vital to ensuring your business operates as efficiently and profitably as possible. But with customer behaviour being so fluid – especially just now - remaining valuable to customers’ needs to be a regular focus.

Join us as we explore the different ways you can focus on the problem you solve for your customer, ensuring that what you’re investing precious time and resource into is going to keep them coming back.

Free Networking & Presentation on Perfect Pitching.

The ability to pitch is one of the first and most important skills that anybody involved in business development, skills or management must master. Whether you have one hour, ten minutes, one minute or just a few seconds you have to get your message over clearly and, perhaps, very quickly.

Unfortunately, it is one of those things that many people “hate”.

This session will introduce you to 3 ways to introduce yourself: a classic elevator pitch, a compelling one-line pitch and a one- word pitch.

What will attendees take away from the session?

Attendees will develop, practice and take away a 60-second Elevator Pitch, that they can tailor for different audiences, networking events etc.

After the session attendees will be sent a copy of The 4 Ps of Perfect Pitching

Power Of Mindset – NatWest X FireUp Workshop & Networking

Our mindset shapes everything we think and everything we do. From the brand of pasta or loo-roll we buy to the top priority business decisions we make. Often these decisions are made for us by our unconscious and could often be holding us back because these decisions are uncertain or uncomfortable – especially just now.

Join Adam Clayton from the NatWest Business team and take a deep dive into The Power of Mindset. We’ll be looking at how our mindset is formed and influenced to understand why different situations feel comfortable or not. You’ll come away with a deeper understanding of your own mindset, where it may be holding you back, and the tools and techniques you need to take the next uncomfortable step.
